Dear Juno,

I think you made the right decision by deciding to adopt the baby but I also think you would have made the right decision if you had kept the baby or aborted it. I think it is one of those subjects where as long as you think you made the right decision then you probably made the right decision.
It is important for a parent to be able to choose what happens to their baby as, unless someone can scientifically prove with concrete evidence that a fetus is conscious, I really don’t really think that little thing cares.

I believe Roe V Wade is a good step in the right decision but it needs to be enforced more. Well firstly, men and women should learn to have protected sex. States that teach abstinence only are usually the ones with the highest teen pregnancy rating. When women do get pregnant, they should not be forced to have and keep the baby. They should have adoption open to them and also more people should consider adoption instead of having their own babies. Abortion should also be easier and less stigmatized.

I currently cannot tell whether or not I would be able to get an abortion if I were a female with an unwanted pregnancy. It is one of those things where your opinion has no merit if you have not gone through it personally. I imagine it would be an incredibly difficult decision to make because, even if you think you would go one way or the other, to do it is something else entirely.
